On the heels of the release of "First Impressions Of Earth," the third record from NYC garage idols, The Strokes, an excellent cover article/interview from New York Magazine's Jay McInerney graces this week's issue. Check it out here.

This has been quite the year for troubadour-in-the-making Johnathan Rice. What does that have to do with the newest cover of The FADER, though? Well, in addition to touring in support of his full-length debut "Trouble Is Real" and playing the part of Roy Orbison in "Walk The Line," Rice is also buying breakfast for Jenny Lewis, the above-pictured fiery starlet of Rilo Kiley. Props to Ms. Lewis for being a cover girl, and for writing "Portions For Foxes," one of the sexiest rock 'n roll tunes on my speakers.
