When I left New York and New Orleans, I never thought I'd be happy with another city's music scene unless I moved to London, San Francisco or Austin. Well, here I am in Dallas, and I feel so lucky to enjoy so many wonderful bands coming out of North Texas. Sarah Jaffe stole my heart when she played a sold out show at the Wyly Theater earlier this year, and she hasn't given it back since. Much love.
