As most sites wrap up their "Best / Favorite ___ of 2006" talk, the type of list I enjoy reading the most is the albums people wish they'd given more attention. We all have them. Now that everyone, thanks to the internet, is constantly inundated with singles, mash-ups of those singles with other singles, albums, and mash-ups of those albums with other albums, and, well, you get the point...we only have so much time. As many great things as I read about TV On The Radio's Return To Cookie Mountain, it never got much play on my headphones. Same with Beck's new record, The Information, and The Clipse's Hell Hath No Fury. Am I interested in those artists? Damn right, I am. But I also discovered Editors this year. And Gnarls Barkley. And Annuals. Only 24 hours in a day.
